Designer's Notes

Every season we design a few pieces that feel unexpected yet are beautiful to wear, and this is one of them.

A new take on the classic cropped leather jacket, the clean shape is offset by angled front pockets and sporty seam lines that make it feel more interesting and less traditional. The cropped proportion gives shape to an outfit and works particularly well with high-waisted pants and skirts, or over the softer line of a cotton or silk dress.

What we love most is the versatility. Wear it open as a light over-jacket, a more considered alternative to denim, or button it closed and wear it almost like a fitted leather shirt.

In Cafe Solo, the smooth leather gives the jacket depth without the hardness of black. We love it with the matching knee-length Leather Column Skirt for a modern leather set, or simply with denim when you want the jacket to do the work.
