Where can I buy Banded Together?

Banded Together pieces are exclusively available at our banded-together.com store and Studio store at 19 Morey St Armadale VIC 3143 and cannot be purchased anywhere else. 

How do I contact you?

Send us an email to hello@banded-together.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We work business hours from Melbourne, Australia and respond to all international enquiries as soon as possible. Please note that we may be in a different time zone which can sometimes cause a slight delay.

Sizing

How do I work out my size?
The beauty of each and every one of us is that we all have different shapes and sizes. Please consider our measurement guide and your individual body type when choosing your size.

Also, it helps to refer to the individual product pages for more detailed fit notes on each style. If you are still unsure email us at hello@banded-together.com, we help women every day work out what is best for them.

Currency

What currency do you charge?
We set our prices in Australian Dollars and this is what we charge however you can choose to convert prices into different currencies.

Your choice will be stored in a cookie and remain on the site for subsequent visits. All currencies are refreshed twice a day based on the rates at XE.com.
What Payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express

Shipping

Free standard shipping within Australia on all orders over $300 AUD and Internationally on orders over $500 AUD. If you are in Melbourne, Australia we also have a free click and collect option at the checkout.

Australian deliveries below $300 AUD incur a flat rate $10 shipping fee. International orders below $500 incur a flat rate of $30 AUD. We also offer an express shipping rate of $15 domestically and $45 internationally should you need your item quickly. Note that if the items need to be picked from our studio and warehouse separately our system, is currently charging shipping twice but we will refund one of the charges.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Australian domestic orders usually take 2-8 days. If your item is on preorder please check delivery in the product description.

Preorder Shipping Procedure
We provide an approximate delivery week for pre-orders. Please note that this is an indication only and whilst we aim to deliver on schedule we are not responsible or liable for any delays that may occur from time to time. Are there duties to pay on top of my international order?
Regulations for import duties and taxes applied to international purchases made online vary from country to country. Banded Together does not cover any duties and taxes which may be applied to your order by your local government. Any duties payable are separate to your order amount and payable directly by the customer. Please contact your local customs offices for more information. 
When calculating your order value to local currency, please remember that all our prices are charged in Australian Dollars. Our website offers a currency converter to help you.  

Can I track my order?
We will send you an email that will help you track your order after has been despatched.

Easy* Returns/Exchanges

Can I return/exchange my order?
Full price online purchases paid by credit card through Shopify payments (our credit card facility) can be exchanged or refunded for change of mind (but not sale or discounted items).

All face mask and earring purchases are final for hygenic reasons. Perfume boxes must be sealed and not open.

If you prefer to use our Afterpay payment facility or purchase any item with a discount and change your mind after receiving the items, we can happily exchange but cannot refund purchases.

We will also happily exchange but not refund your purchase when a promotional discount code is used unless it is a new subscriber or birthday code in which case we will both exchange and/or refund your purchase.

Please note that standard postage fees will apply for items that are exchanged if purchased on sale or at a discount and for full priced items the first exchange will be shipped for free and subsequent will be charged our standard shipping fees.

Items purchased in our clearance sales such as EOFY, Black Friday and the Boxing Day Sale are final sale.

If you have purchased in our studio store and not online, we accept exchanges for change of mind on full price items but do not refund. If you would prefer to wait for an item we also issue credit notes.

Returns and exchanges must meet conditions mentioned below.

Do I pay return shipping?
The shipping cost of returning item(s) to the warehouse for an exchange or refund, is not covered or reimbursed by us. However, if you request an exchange, we will arrange free shipping of the new item to you. To make returns super easy we can also send you an easy return label for the cost of $10 (Australian returns only). Please email us to arrange this option. Alternatively if you choose your own return method, we recommend using a registered post service to return goods, and keeping a record of the tracking details.

How do I request a return or exchange?
Please email hello@banded-together.com so we can allocate a Returns Authorisation (RA) number for you and a return shipping label. Once the items have been received, you will either receive your new item (for exchanges) or full refund. Banded Together cannot be held liable for the loss of garments being returned.

What if my item arrives faulty or damaged?
All our items are thoroughly checked and we strive to ensure that they are sold to you with the highest standard and quality. However, if you do have a concern, please contact us at hello@banded-together.com so we can review the matter.

Returns and exchanges must meet these conditions:
Returns and exchanges must be made within 10 days of receiving the item. The items must be in original condition, unused and with the original packaging and tags attached. Items that are not in the original condition will not be accepted. This includes perfume scents and stains. We do not accept returns or exchanges on sale/reduced items unless it is a special promotion that stipulates an exchange can be made within 10 days (conditions apply).Refunds will not be accepted for these special promotions.

Caring for Silk

How do you launder silk?
We recommend dry cleaning to keep the garment as new for longer. If you do prefer washing then please hand wash with cold water and a delicate PH neutral soap. Machine washing is possible (see our garment care section) but not preferred. Never tumble dry, bleach or use fabric softener. Silk will appear more sandwashed over time if you choose to wash it with water. A light steam can be applied after every wear to refresh the fabric so laundering is not necessary each and every time its worn. Please note that like cotton, wool, denims and other natural fibres you can excpect 2-5% shrinkage after laundering your garment for the first time. All our fabrics have been properly pre-shrunk and tested for both washing and dry cleaning and have been shown not to shrink more than 2-5% if handled as advised. Our garment care section can help you further.


Silk is a delicate fabric so take care when wearing it.
Do not scratch the silk with sharp objects such as jewellery as these can create pulls in the fabric. We pride ourselves with the silk we use, our crepe de chine is the quality used by couture houses. Our prints are all exclusive to us and printed in small batches. Slight irregularities in the fabric are part of its natural character.

Discount codes and vouchers

Only one discount/promotional code can be used at a time. This also applies if the discount is automatically applied at the checkout. Note that all sale items are final sale and all discounted items for a special promotion can be exchanged but not refunded.

AfterPayDay 2022

As per our normal terms and conditions - all discounted items for on the AfterPayDay sale can be exchanged once but not refunded. If the item is exchanged for an item that was not in stock during the sale the full price of the exchanged item will be charged which may incur additional costs. Accessories by other brands are not included in markdown. Gift cards will not be discounted with the code. All items will go back to full price after sale.
