Designer's Notes

There's a clean simplicity to our cropped cashmere and merino coat - but the subtly curved back and perfectly shaped collar ensures this minimal style is anything but plain.

Made from our cashmere and wool double-faced fabric, you will love the subtle luxurious sheen and softness that these premium yarns offer. 

The length celebrates any skirt, pant or dress paired back with it and offers you an extra dose of warmth.

    Designed to be worn oversized and fits true to size. If you prefer a more fitted look, go down a size.

    Elizabeth (Model 1) is 169 cm tall and is wearing the coat in XS/S.

    Kelsey (Model 2) is 176 cm tall and is wearing the coat in XS/S.

    Size Guide
    Garment Care
    • Dry clean only.
    • Never iron as the heat from an iron will damage the fabric. A very light contactless steam is ideal.
    • Steaming: First, hang the coat. Start steaming by running the steamer in downward strokes along with the fibres’ grain direction. Gently steam from the top of coat with one long stroke at a time - the longer the steam stroke the better. No need to press hard the steam will gently remove the creases.
    • Important: Do not steam by rubbing the fabric. Steaming in different directions against the fibres’ natural grain direction will damage the fabric permanently.
    • Drying: After the steaming, the coat will become damp. It may also have some small water spots and droplets - this is completely normal. Let the coat sit dry for 10-20 minutes before wearing it or hanging it in your closet.

    We offer free standard shipping on all international orders outside of Australia.

    There are currently no duties and taxes payable from Australia to USA. This may change over time.

    Please note that items purchased in our clearance sales such as Midseason Sale, Holiday Sale, End of Season, EOFY, Warehouse Sale, Flash Sales, Black Friday and the Boxing Day Sale are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

    If you’re not completely happy with your order, full price online purchases made via credit card can be exchanged or refunded within 10 days provided the item(s) is unused and the garment tag or packaging is intact. Item(s) that are not in original condition will not be accepted. All earring purchases are final for hygienic reasons.

      Beautiful Coat

      Beautiful soft coat. I'm usually a Size 14 and often like a jacket roomy enough to allow a knit underneath...but ended up exchanging the L/XL for the M/L. It's a coat that looks better in a 'just right' fit, rather than oversized. Exchange process was relatively smooth.

      The best cropped coat !

      The most flattering cropped coat I own. Perfect in every way, from fabric to fit. Have been styling it back my black slouchy leather pants. My favourite outfit this winter.

      A truely beautiful garment.

      Wow! This is an exquisitely made cropped jacket which I know I will reach for again and again. Soft, cosy and easy to wear - yet it still elevates anything that you wear it with. I'm ditching all synthetics from my wardrobe and Banded Together is now one of very few Aussie designers I buy from purely because of their focus on natural fibres. This is a great investment piece that will still be getting you admiring glances in years to come.
