www.banded-together.com (our "Website," or "Site") is owned by Banded Together Pty Ltd (“Banded Together" "BT" “we," “us,” and “our”). The following Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to all visitors or users ("you," "your," or "yours") of our Website and of our webpages (collectively, our “Services”). By using our Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
We reserve the right to modify the Terms at any time. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the Website. If you do not agree to any of these changes, you must discontinue using the Website.
You must not participate in any activity that hinders the Website, the servers or networks that host the Website, or disrupts the security-related features of the Website. Customers may not, without BT’s written permission, sell information obtained from this Website. You may not copy, alter, reproduce, publish, transmit, distribute, perform, display, post, modify, create derivative works from, sell, license, or otherwise exploit this Site or any of its content without our prior written permission. Reproduction or misuse of any trademarks and logos on the Website is strictly prohibited. You will not make any speculative or fraudulent orders. You understand and agree that any abusive, fraudulent or illegal activity may be actionable by us, including but not limited to civil or criminal prosecution and/ or referral to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
You are responsible for all use of your account including orders placed using your account. You agree to keep your account password secure and you acknowledge that we are not responsible for any unauthorised activity on your account if you fail to keep your login information secure. If you suspect or become aware of any unauthorised use of your account or that your password is no longer secure you must notify us immediately and take immediate steps to change your password on the Website. We may at any time terminate your account for abuse of the Website.
Use of your Personal Information
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. With your permission, we may send you emails about our online store, new products and other updates.
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no. Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Prices displayed on the Website are in Australian Dollars (AUD $).
The responsibility for any custom duties, foreign taxes or other fees, which may be imposed, will rest with the customer. Please contact your local customs offices if you would like to seek more information regarding taxes and duties.
Purchasing products on the Website is only available to individuals who meet our terms of eligibility. All purchasers must be over 18 years of age. All purchasers must have been issued with either a valid credit card by a bank acceptable to Shopify Payments .
Banded Together processes all payments through Shopify Payments (SP). All purchasers must agree to authorise SP (on behalf of BT) to process the charge or charges on his/her credit card in the amount of the total purchase price for the merchandise which they purchase. You therefore authorise SP to perform credit checks to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions. We recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
Banded Together also offers AfterPay. If AfterPay is selected as a payment method than you must comply with AfterPay rules and regulations.

Banded Together reserves the right to not accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, that shipping restrictions apply to a particular item, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn, or that you do not meet the eligibility criteria.
Promotion codes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. Any refunds provided in relation to goods purchased using promotional codes will be equivalent to the discounted purchase price and not the normal retail price. Furthermore, they cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion code or offers, and must be redeemed by the date published, if provided. Only one promotional code per customer can be used at the one time.
For all international orders, our products are shipped as DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid). We are not responsible for any possible duties and taxes which may be applied by customs in the country where delivery is made. The responsibility for any custom duties, foreign taxes or other fees, which may be imposed, will rest with the customer.
