A: SHOULDER

This is measured horizontally from shoulder point to shoulder point across the back of the garment.

B: CHEST

This is measured across the back of the garment when lying flat in line with the underarm seam and then doubled for the front and back.

C: SLEEVE

This is measured from the tip of the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve.

D: BODY LENGTH

This is measured as a vertical line at the back of the garment from the highest point at the shoulder to the lowest point on the hem.

Designers Notes

Informed by minimalism, the Banded Together cocoon coat sits between striking and subtle, and ultimately pulls off both. The dropped shoulder and very flattering curved shape ensures the coat is every bit as enveloping as the name suggests. The loose fit at the top of the arm and body also allows it to layer easily over chunky knitwear whilst still remaining ultra flattering on the body.

Our Cashmere coats have a smooth texture and feel soft against the skin. The drape slightly softer on the body than its alpaca equivalent and equally warm.

Garment Care

Dry clean only
Never iron as the heat from an iron will damage the fabric. A very light contactless steam is ok
Steaming - First hang the coat. Start steaming by running the steamer in downward strokes along with the fibres’ grain direction. Gently steam from the top of coat with one long stroke at a time - the longer the steam stroke the better. No need to press hard the steam will gently remove the creases
IMPORTANT - Do not steam by rubbing the fabric. Steaming in different directions against the fibres’ natural grain direction will damage the fabric permanently
Drying - After the steaming, the coat will become damp. It may also have some small water spots and droplets - this is completely normal. Let the coat sit dry for 10-20 minutes before wearing it or hanging it in your closet

Coat I didn't know I needed
I pondered on this purchase for quite a while, then bought it with an O/S trip in mind. When it arrived beautifully and neatly packed with not a crease in sight I knew I had done the right thing. Then I started to wear it, I receive such lovely compliments. This lightweight coat sits and falls perfectly, so easy to wear.

A new purchase, the coat is warm but not heavy or bulky. It has a lovely balance of drape and structure. I can see myself wearing this timeless investment piece for many many years to come.
