During the first lockdown, our creative director Dana Burrows wore her cashmere robe from her previous brand regularly. She was amazed that after about 8 years of wearing it, it was still in great condition, minimal pilling. She rang her colleague in Nepal that made them for her who was also in lockdown at the time. They discussed developing a range for Banded Together and she then decided that as soon as he was out of lockdown they would start small with a couple of styles.
The 'Hope' cashmere knit has been hand loomed in Nepal using A+ grade high twist yarn to minimise pilling. The short style is still long enough to wear with any bottom but also looks gorgeous over a loose top. The raglan sleeve makes it flattering on anyone and the fine soft rib detail gives it that edge. Subtley embroidered with the word ‘hope’ on the back, it will be something to keep in your wardrobe as a symbol of our time.

My favourite cashmere sweater
This is my perfect cashmere knit with lovely design details such as side vents, 'hope' patched on the side and the cropped style makes it easy to pair with high waisted pants. Would love to see Banded Together make this in more colours!

Hope Cashmere Knit - Peony Pink
The only way I can describe this knit is sublime! It feels wonderful when it is on, so much so I don't want to take it off. It's lightweight but warm. The colour is beautiful and can be worn with lots of other colours. It looks great with skirts and pants or with a pair of jeans.

Amazing quality - so soft and beautiful. The perfect top - goes with everything, is thin and soft to tuck into jeans and skirts, but feels amazing (feels like it will last a long time). I bought a small and there is plenty of room with the boxy shape - could even have done an XS. Note it is short (cropped), which is perfect for me with longer legs and a shorter torso. I'm 5'7 and wear a size small normally.
